Our role as an ICP is invaluable in collaboration and connection to both CQI and to coffee professionals across the globe from coffee producers to baristas.
The Specialty Coffee Association’s mission is to engage, inspire, and expand a sustainable global specialty coffee community by leading in research, education, and events.
As an In-Country Partner in the United States, we process green coffee samples that are submitted for Q Grading. Our ICP Coordinator helps to facilitate the process to ensure a fair and efficient experience for the producer.
There is great opportunity in educational resources to those interested in becoming Q Graders but also for those who are submitting their coffee samples for evaluation.
As an ICP, it is great being a resource for coffee producers looking for feedback and analysis on their coffee while connecting with them directly throughout the process.
Increased awareness about the program and the opportunities it provides would be beneficial.
Being an ICP aligns with our mission in engaging with the specialty coffee community by being a resource to assist, facilitate and process green coffee sample evaluations.
