The Q teaches the fundamentals of coffee analysis in an extremely thorough manner and builds the confidence of everyone who takes it. On a professional level, it sets a standard for current and prospective employers that your baseline knowledge is at the Q grader level. I am a director of coffee at Chameleon Cold-brew. There I manage our sourcing and risk management, roast profiles and formulations, extraction specifications, and all other things coffee. Beyond that, I am also a member of Coffee Corp, volunteering my time with coffee based projects throughout the world.
