Seven international participants met in Palacaguina, Nicaragua, with 22 farmer representatives from throughout the country. Throughout the duration of the workshop, the community created a shared vision of the future that embraced everything from educational goals for children to improved livelihoods to production of higher-quality coffee. Ultimately, the community explored how traditional gender divides such as inequitable division of property, as well as access to financing and education, impacts their ability to make this vision a reality
