How long have you been in coffee?

I started in coffee back in 2002.


 In which countries have you taught?

USA, Taiwan, Greece, Ethiopia, England, Jordan, Laos and the Philippines.


What's your favorite coffee origin?

Well, I love to travel and learn, so I’d have to say the origins I have visited – Puerto Rico, Brazil, Panama, Ethiopia, Thailand and Mexico.


 What do you think are the benefits of taking the Q?

1. Becoming connected with an international community and speaking the same language through the cupping form.

2. Challenging and validating one’s skill set.

3. Creating long lasting bonds with the other individuals in your course.

 

 What languages do you speak? 

English and some very basic Spanish.


 What other activities do you do in the coffee industry?

Running a café, volunteer instructing, SCAAST, QA, Food Safety and Regulatory consulting.
