How long have you been in coffee? First company founded in 1989, started as barman-barista in 1985.
Which countries have you taught in? USA, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dubai, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Greece, Honduras, Italy, Jordan, France, Kenya, Mexico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam.
What's your favorite coffee origin? Hard to pin but because I spend so much time there working on farms.
What do you think are the benefits of taking the Q? It helps make you a true coffee professional, I think that the original Q will go down in history as the best coffee education we have ever had access to.
What language/s do you speak? English but understand and get along in Italian and Spanish not fluent.
What other activities do you do in the coffee industry? I have a roastery and distribution company since 1999, 3 cafes, ibca in USA and Dubai, I am on Sanremo Coffee Machines R&D team, Deisng Roasters for Ozturkbay, work with farmers in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil and import direct, am a partner in 3 Coffee Guys coffee education and travel company. Anything else you’d like to add? I am honored to FINALLY after more than 8 years of chasing to have obtained my Q Instructor License it might be the Pinnacle of my career, at least the top 10.
