At CQI we support coffee professionals at all stages of the value chain. Every coffee has a story to tell, but the journey begins at the farm, in the hands of the producer. Coffee Quality Institute is pleased to offer learning resources that are beneficial there and throughout the value chain.
- Post-Harvest Processing education offers techniques to help improve the quality of coffee, and even to develop certain qualities and flavors.
- Quality Evaluation education is a benefit at every point in the value chain. Because we speak the same language, fine and specialty coffee is recognized, and producers can ultimately be rewarded for their higher quality through better access to markets.
- CQI also offers two certifications of coffee; a Q Certificate, used mainly used to communicate between buyers and sellers, and a Q CoffeeTM licensing program to communicate quality to consumers.
