Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) and pioneering roaster, Peet’s Coffee are proud to collaborate to offer Post-Harvest Processing Good Practices training to coffee producers in Colombia and Rwanda. These trainings are designed to support producers in strengthening locally relevant practices and aligning on shared quality language across the supply chain.
Later this year, Peet’s and CQI will co-invest with Costa Rica-based trader The Coffee Source and the cooperative Coocentral to deliver this training to 50 members of the Mujeres Cafeteras organization in Huila, Colombia. In 2026, managers from washing stations operated by Rwanda Trading Company will also participate in a two-day CQI-led knowledge-sharing workshop.
The CQI PHP Good Practices class features a flexible, hands-on curriculum that builds on producers’ existing expertise and fosters peer-to-peer learning. CQI is honored to work alongside Peet’s and its origin partners to support shared success.
