Q Processing is a one of a kind program. It brings the scientific program with hands on experiments and a great exchange of knowledge among participants..It also helps create a common language in the coffee industry, facilitating communication along the value chain.

Portuguese (native), English (proficient), Spanish (intermediate)

What other activities do you do in the coffee industry?

I am a coffee producer and roaster in Brazil, and also own a small tech company that develops and manufactures optical sorters for coffee, using computer vision and artificial intelligence.

Anything else you'd like to add?

I believe coffee processing has a lot to improve with the use of technology. Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and IOT, along with state-of-the-art processing and good agricultural practices will be key to increasing productivity while maintaining quality.
