For us, to be an ICP is very important. To be able to provide reliable and transparent analysis to the different clients that require accrediting their lots under the Q Coffees standards or who are looking for certified lots.
Anacafé, as a union association, represents the national coffee growers, looks after the interests of the sector, is responsible for providing effective services to achieve sustainable, competitive and quality coffee growing.
Our laboratory performs the analysis for certification of lots under the protocols of the Q Program, guaranteeing the transparency of the results because we are an institution of services for the coffee producers and not commercial companies. We have the infrastructure and technical capacity to also offer the services of certifications to cuppers who with to obtain the Q Arabica Grader certificate and to producers who with to obtain the Q Processing certificate.
We've held 2 Q Processing Professional courses, a Q Arabica course and a Q Arabica Calibration.
Our producers can sell their lots with the guarantee of complying with the quality guarantee offered by the Q Coffee system.
It allows us to be at the forefront of quality control, consolidating ourselves as leaders in coffee growing in our country, thus ensuring quality services and helping to provide Guatemala coffee to the world.
Marketing or publicizing of the lots that are certified under the Q Program could be improved by written means or on social media.
It allows us to have a solid panel of cuppers and in turn to be able to interact with other certified cuppers.
